Annapolis, MD — Maryland Rush Soccer Club is proud to announce its acceptance into the Girls Academy Aspire League for the upcoming 2026–2027 season.
This milestone marks a significant step forward in the club’s continued commitment to providing elite-level development opportunities for female athletes. The Girls Academy Aspire League represents a highly competitive platform designed to bridge the gap between top regional competition and the national Girls Academy pathway, offering enhanced exposure, high-level competition, and a clear progression model for aspiring players.
“We are incredibly excited to join the Girls Academy Aspire League and align ourselves with an organization that shares our vision for player development,” said Maryland Rush Girls Director, Sarah DeWitt. “This opportunity allows us to elevate our girls program while continuing to prioritize long-term growth, development, and exposure for our players.”
Participation in the Girls Academy Aspire League will provide Maryland Rush teams with access to top-tier competition, identification opportunities, and a structured pathway within the broader Girls Academy ecosystem. The club looks forward to competing against like-minded organizations and continuing to build a culture centered on excellence, ambition, and player-first development.
Maryland Rush will begin competing in the Girls Academy Aspire League beginning with the Fall 2026 season, with additional details regarding team formation, identification events, and league play to be announced in the coming weeks.
