MD RUSH FUTSAL

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED

The Maryland Rush Futsal Academy is a competitive futsal program for U9 (2015) to U14 (2010) players that complements outdoor soccer programs. We additionally will have a Pre-Academy Program for U7 (2017) – U8 (2016) players. Both the Academy and Pre-Academy programs include both futsal training and futsal games.

The MD Rush Futsal Academy Program will include futsal training sessions beginning in November and running through February along with league play during the winter. Some teams additionally will attend tournaments. The Pre-Academy program will begin in December. Details for that program will be coming shortly.

Practices for Academy teams primarily will be held in the Annapolis area primarily on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday evenings with the practices chosen to not conflict with outdoor practices. Make-up practices, friendlies and games in the winter may be on weekends.

Training: Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursdays Weekly

Location: Annapolis area

League Play: Jan-Feb.

Uniform: Rush Training Kit + White Jersey

Current Maryland Rush players do not need to tryout and will be placed on appropriate teams prior to the start of training. Non-Maryland Rush players may participate in the Academy and Pre-Academy programs. Non-Maryland Rush players should contact Maryland Rush futsal director Tim DeWitt at futsal@marylandrush.com to arrange an evaluation.

The cost of the Academy program is $80, which includes trainings sessions and league play. For teams playing in tournaments the tournament entry fees will be extra. Registration for the Academy program will open on October 15 and will close on November 15. Teams will be formed on a rolling basis. Training sessions will start in November.

The Academy teams will wear the Rush Practice kit (gray jersey, black shorts, black socks) with the white Rush jersey as the alternate jersey. Maryland Rush players having those kits do not need to make any additional uniform purchase. Non-Maryland Rush players will need to purchase those items, which cost approximately $120 total.
