Rush 11G Wins August Cup Tournament

August 28, 2023.  Maryland Soccerplex. Congratulation to Maryland Rush 11G on winning the top bracket at the 2023 August Cup Tournament!

The girls had a massive first day, putting up impressive wins against Mclean 2011G White (6-0) and Virginia Valor FC 2011G White (4-0). Two wins on day one secured thier spot in the semifinals the following morning.

The girls had yet another imressive semifinal match, putting up an 11-0 win against Villarreal Virginia Academy 2011G. Eight different goalscorers helped lead the team to victory.

In the Championship game, the Rush put up a 2-1 win against ASA Royal Blues 2011G.

Over the weekend, the girls scored 23 goals while only conceeding 1. What an impressive way to start the season!
