The Maryland Fitness Training Program began in January 2017 to provide players with opportunities to participate in structured group fitness training outside of their regular team practices. The fitness training includes various running activities to improve endurance, speed and agility along with weight training and core building exercises.
During January and February 2017, the fitness training is being held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00 - 8:00 pm at the Pip Moyer Recreation Center at Truxton Park in Annapolis on the indoor track.
