MD Rush 05 Girls Featured on All Around the Rush

July 31, 2020 Bowie MD. The Maryland Rush 2005 Girls USYS EDP National League Team Featured on All Around the Rush, a spotlight feature by National Rush.

The Team played in the first official Maryland State Youth Soccer Association (MSYSA) Return to Play Festival since the COVID-19 shutdown in March 2020. The event was hosted at Covenant Part in Ellicott City. The format of the event was 3 (30 minute) games for these first competitive games since the COVID-19 shutdown in March.

These weren't official games, they were just scrimmages, in a festival style to give the players a safe venue to return to play. MSYSA did a great job in providing a safe venue with safe protocols in place for players, coaches and parents.

The 2005 Girls played three 30 minute scrimmages and some video of the teams successes were used by National Rush for this weeks episode of All Around the Rush. It's awesome to have a Maryland Rush team featured in this National Spotlight.
