
Maryland Rush Teams Show Well
The U16 Boys (Nike 94) coached by Adam Ritchie moved into first place with a 5-0 win on Weds over Virginia Alliance. The boys would get a 2-0 win over Atlanta Fire on the club trip to Ga last weekend and had a group from the team finish 2nd in a 3v3 tournament hosted by Ga Rush on Sat. The team remains unbeaten this season in league play. The boys have a tough weekend ahead with a double header over FASA on Sat. They will need to step it up in order to keep battling for the top spot and a chance to compete in Nations this winter.
The U15 Boys (Nike 95) coaches by Frank Springer are holding on to the 2nd place standing after a 4-0 win over Virginia Alliance on weds as well. The 95's were able to head to Ga last weekend and come away with a win and 1 tie. They will also have a double header this weekend with FASA in Fredericksburg on Sat.
U14 Girls (Nike 96) coached by Craig Morland are also sitting in the 2nd place spot in the U14 division after a 4-0 win over Virginia Alliance. The 96's dropped a tough one on the Ga trip but would go 1-1-0 on the weekend.
U15 Girls (Nike 95) coaches by Kathleen Kerins are also in the thick of things sitting in 3rd place after beating previously unbeaten Virginia Alliance 2-0 on Weds. The 95 girls went 1-1-0 on their trip to Ga last weekend.
